Weekend With The Hemphill's

Our church enjoyed a great weekend of revival, and musical inspiration with Joel and LaBreeska Hemphill. Joel put on a class Saturday morning where he spoke about the ONE TRUE GOD. Saturday evening The Hemphills inspired us with their wonderful singing ministry. Sunday morning Joel spoke again about the one true God and how great He is to us. We enjoyed a dinner on the grounds after Sunday service with great fellowship.
We were also blessed to have Pastor Dan and Sharon Gill, as well as Dr. Joe and Rebecca Martin join us. Dan shared his testimony about how he can to the revelation of the one true God, he and his wife Sharon recorded the services for their website that focuses on issues concerning God and his Son Jesus Christ. Dr. Joe is the president of Atlanta Bible College, and he spoke to us as well. It was a blessing to have Dr. Joe and Rebecca here!

- There is one God, the Father, the Creator of all mankind.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God; He died for our sins and was buried, and rose again.
- The Holy Spirit is the power of God, working in believers through Jesus Christ.
- The Bible is God's inspired Word, which will be the guide and practice of the believer.
- Man is wholly mortal, and only through Christ can man receive eternal life at the resurrection when Jesus comes again.
- God's loving grace offers a plan of salvation through Jesus Christ, including complete forgiveness of sin, and immortality at the return of Jesus Christ.
- Man' response to God through Christ will be: believe in the Gospel, condition of faith, baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus, and growth in the Christian life.
- Jesus is coming again to resurrect the righteous sleeping dead, bestow the gift of immortality upon all believers and establish the kingdom of God on earth.
